Here is some highlites of my work as drummer and composer & arranger in 2023:

February, June & September:

steady gigs with Ed Partyka Jazz Orchestra in Berlin (Bflat). It´s always a pleasure and great fun to support the band from the drum position.

April:

A brandnew project called "Alpine Air", put together by Jakob Helling and Heinrich v.Kalnein. It was especially put together for this years "Jazzahead Bremen" and all the performing bandmembers brought in some new compositions as well. Here is my composition "A Proper Hopper"

May:

• arranging commission of CROATIAN RADIOTELEVISION JAZZ ORCHESTRA (HRT Bigband Zagreb) for Split music festival

• GMPU Jazz Orchestra and Vocals @ORF Broadcast station Klagenfurt and Spittal/Drau

June:

• taking the drumseat with Jazzdock Orchestra feat. Nikki Iles (Prague - Czech Republic)

• w/KELAG Bigband as sideman in Klagenfurt (Bundesjugendsingen 2023)

July:

"Echoes from the South" 8ctet with carinthian musicians playing our own compositions in Villach at the Festival "Jazzhochburg Kärnten"

August:

CD Recording of Tobias Hoffmann Jazz Orchestra in Graz

September:

CD Recording of Leo Skorupa Ensemble in Vienna

October:

arranging commission for Jure Pukl & Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra (HRT Bigband Zagreb)
